Skull

Illustration

I was invited by Mr Four Fingers and Skull Appreciation Society to take part in ‘Celebrabis Vitae’, an exhibition of skull art, taking place 31st October (HALLOWEEN).

My piece is a simple idea about equality, each dot is unique and represents a person. Under every bodies fleshy facade we are basically the same, but it is their physical appearance, ethnicity, ancestry, that can often lead to segregation or to people grouping together in to tribes.

Details. 50 x 70cm, hand painted gloss acrylic halftone dots, on a heavyweight yellow cartridge paper. The image becomes clearer the further you stand back to view it, well, within reason!
